Christine Bowie was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware and has been a South Carolina resident for over 25 years. She has 20 years of nursing experience with 18 of those years working in mental health at Aurora Pavilion striving to give quality, compassionate care as well as being a strong patient advocate. She has cared for senior adults, adults, adolescents and children in a variety of mental health roles. She started her nursing education at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College earning an associate’s degree in nursing and later earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Most recently in 2023 she earned a Master of Nursing degree from Anderson University graduating Summa cum laude. Christine is a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner caring for clients in our community at Aiken Psychiatric and Psychotherapy Associates. She is a member of Cedar Creek Church and lives in Aiken with her husband and two teenage children. She enjoys traveling, crafting, cooking and has volunteered alongside her husband at their church for many years.
