Leslie Addison

Leslie grew up in Thomasville, GA. She attended Georgia Southern University. She majored in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She also obtained her master’s in clinical psychology at Georgia Southern University. She has been practicing Child and Adolescent Counseling for over 20 years. She is LPC licensed in both Georgia and South Carolina. The first years were as an outpatient child and adolescent counselor at Ogeechee Mental Health in Swainsboro, GA. Then she worked as the Clinical Director at the Area Residence for Kids (ARK) in Dubin, GA (a level 3 Christian based group foster home for kids). Leslie then went on to be the Child and Adolescent Therapist at Aurora Pavilion for 13 years. She opened her own private practice in 2020 and sees children and adolescents for individual therapy. She has been a member of the Association for Play Therapy and was on the board of the South Georgia Association of Play Therapy. Leslie also served on the planning committee for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Aiken from 2008-2022. Leslie is married and has two kids. She is an active member at Millbrook Baptist Church in Aiken.
