Gayle Lofgren

Gayle Lofgren has her BA Degree in Psychology & Education from Furman University and her Master’s Degree in Counseling from The Citadel. She worked at the Charleston Area Mental Health Center for 3 years as a Children’s Therapist and continued work at the Aiken-Barnwell Mental Health Center as the Director of the Children’s Services Division for 24 years. She then served as the Therapeutic Counseling Coordinator in the Aiken County School District for 9 years, followed by her employment at the Child Advocacy Center of Aiken County (private nonprofit) as the Executive Director for 8 years. Suicide prevention has been a major focus of Gayle’s experience both theurapetically and educationally.
